I am trying desperately to clean my friends laptop computer running windows 8.1.  He kept getting totalcarecomplete247.info pop-ups and redirects.  I have used Malwarebytes which removed several threats, Windows Defender which removed some, Kaperski anti-virus and rootkit removal. I then use CCleaner to the clean the registries.  I manually went through the registry and removed everything that looked suspicious.  I removed Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.  I still get a totalcarecomplete247.info alert telling there is a problem and asks me to call a toll free number.  I also get redirected to a different webpage each time saying there is a problem with my computer and to call the number to get tech support.  It is a scam , but I cannot seem to find or get rid of this thing.  Please help.
