I acquired the pcfixing.net virus by googling something. It locks up my browser, Edge, and prevents downloading new virus definitions. Shut downs don’t effect it. The message asserts a serious issue with your computer that can be corrected by their “Microsoft trained technicians” and repeats a phone number 5 times as the only source of help. It makes  Edge unusable, is locked and a Defender scan won’t complete. how to get rid of pcfixing.net?

When I open most web pages I get a notification that a malicious website was detected and blocked. there is website called pcfixing.net pop ups that get through – the same ones show up on every site and open new windows. Computer scans have not detected anything. Please help!!
