So after trying to download a free app,   now I get a Critical Programming Error Alert pop-up every time i open Edge and it completes blocks my to access other websites. While using Microsoft Edge I had a message pop up on the screen  and was unable to work around it. I used Task Manager to close Edge and restarted my HP Pavillion DV7 1245dx laptop.
