My computer got infected by a ExtTag.exe virus which causing high CPU usage in Task Manager. I am using my normal methods (AdwCleaner, Malwarebytes, Hitman Pro) and ran the tools till they came back clean. However it still comes back soon. I have searched the registry and there is no reference to “ExtTag.exe” anywhere. The computer is running Windows 8.1 x64. please help me remove it, thank you.
I think I have the ExtTag.exe malware, which unfortunately I must have caught from some torrent file. no matter how many times I removed it with Malwarebytes AntiMalware, it will come back at next scan, is there any solution to delete it?
