I think I may have just been scammed. We were opening a web site to view Chili’s Restaurant and all of a sudden an alarm went off; a loud beeping. The instructions said to call this number and talk to a technician who I thought was from microsoft. he talked me thru a series of steps and he was able to get into my files on my computer. At the end he asked me if I wanted him to clean up the viruses (he claimed there were over 5,000) He would charge me $250.00. That’s when I hung up. Who am I supposed to report this to???
