Step 1 – Restart your system into Safe Mode with Networking

Windows XP/Vista/7 User

• Reboot your computer and keep tapping “F8″ key constantly before Windows launches;

• Use the arrow keys to select Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Networking and press ENTER

Windows 8 User

• Reboot your computer: At the Windows 8 login screen: hold the Shift key, click Power and then click Restart;
• Click Troubleshoot >>Click Advanced options >>Click Startup Settings>>Click Restart>>Press F5 on your keyboard to Enable Safe Mode with Networking. Windows will start in Safe Mode with Networking.

Windows 10User

• Click Start >>navigate to Power and then hold the Shift key on your keyboard and click Restart.
• Click Troubleshoot >>Click Advanced options >>Click Startup Settings>>Click Restart>>Press F5 on your keyboard to Enable Safe Mode with Networking. Windows will start in Safe Mode with Networking.

NOTE: If you cannot boot your system into Safe Mode with Networking, or if the virus still pop up on your first screen while you try to log in Safe Mode with Networking, don’t worry, check Step 2 now.

Step 2 – End Process of Windows Activation Pro in Windows Task Manager

• In case Windows Activation Pro is still locking your screen, please press “Ctrl + Alt + Del” keys together to open the Windows Security screen, which provides you with five options including Windows Task Manager. Just click Start Task Manager.
• Try your best to find the process of Windows Activation Pro and then click on it and click End Process button (The virus’ name may be shown as Windows Activation Pro or other name, if you cannot identify the right one, try those which consumes high Memory or CPU)
